Daily SHA-NANIGAN®️s: I’m just hrs away from running the United Airlines Half Marathon.  I definitely have a bit of “pre-race anxiety” but I’m keeping my thoughts POSITIVE & I know “I’ve got this”! Today, I took it easy and enjoyed a mani & pedi with my daughter, got my legs worked on a bit (thx to @nickpagsfit) and then Carb-loaded. “I had one BIG A** bowl of spagetti which was just enough to fill me up” (ok fine… I also had a scoop of coffee ice-cream). It was all worth it! The last thing on my agenda is to review my checklist.

My Check List

  1. Race bib (#19411) & safety pins
  2. Running outfit, hat, shoes, and socks
  3. Race fuels are packed up
  4. Sunscreen
  5. Hand/Foot warmers
  6. Gum/Tums
  7. Hot Shower
  8. Cash/Id
  9. Music
  10. Throw away jacket
