Yes you can. Many of our clients come in for a wellness checkup or for general maintenance. Our service providers offer many services in conjunction with Chiropractic treatment such as Pilates, Physical Therapy, and Acupuncture.

The time frame is very dependent on your body and the type of condition you are coming in for. We have clients who are free of pain in just one visit! Therefore, at every visit we discuss short-term goals, long term goals & treatment plans so that patients are well aware of their own progress.

A typical visit begins with a thorough consultation where our Service Providers discuss with you all of your concerns & perform a physical examination. They then review the findings & create a customized treatment plan. Depending on the condition, a visit can include any of the following modalities: medical massage, Ultrasound, cold laser therapy, Graston Technique, chiropractic adjustment, mobilizations, postural corrections, orthotics, Active Release Technique and more.

There is no set uniform for Pilates , but we recommend comfortable, form-fitting clothing.  In general yoga pants, leotards, leggings, t-shirts, and light sweats are all good choices.

Of course! A man, Joseph Pilates, started Pilates. Pilates provides true core strengthening by focusing on local muscles whereas weight lifting and cardio training works only on global muscles. Pilates emphasizes moving from the center of the body and developing core strength in the deep muscles of the center to stabilize the trunk and protect the back.

Each session will last fifty-five minutes and include complimentary stretching & core strengthening segments. All of our Pilates sessions are performed one on one with a DASHA® Service Provider, Certified Pilate’s instructor.

While one will burn calories from the resistance training, Pilates is not a cardiovascular workout until one becomes advanced.  However, Pilates training coupled with some cardio, like jogging or biking, and a sensible diet can result in weight loss. Regardless of weight loss, Pilates lengthens and leans out the body for a more desirable appearance.

Products purchased from DASHA® may be returned for a full refund of the original payment method within 10 days of purchase, provided they remain unused and in their original packaging. Products returned after 10 days will be refunded with a 15% restocking fee off the original purchase price. Returns of liquid products and final sale merchandise are not accepted.

Cancellations 2017-05-31T21:29:20-04:00

Our Service Providers require 24 hours notice to cancel any appointment. Cancellations of insurance-based services made after this period will be charged a $25.00 fee. Cancellations of cash-based and spa services will be charged a fee of half of the value of the service. No shows will be charged in full.

For leisurely enjoyment of your full treatment, please arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled table time to inform therapists of any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, and medications. Late arrivals will be charged for the entire session and granted the remainder of the session.

If we do not accept your insurance, we accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express or Cash for payment of services (we do not accept personal or business checks). All insurance checks should be dropped off directly to our Billing Department. After billing hours, please leave the insurance checks with the Concierge on duty in an envelope. We will be happy to make copies for your records.

What are DASHA®’s policies regarding vouchers purchased from Living Social or Groupon? 2017-05-31T21:29:20-04:00

Purchases from Living Social and Groupon must be redeemed by presenting the voucher number within the time specified on the voucher. Our official cancellation policy also applies to voucher purchases. Appointment cancellations must be made within 24 hours, or the voucher will be assessed a penalty of half the value of the service. No showing will result in the voiding of the voucher. Requests to purchase an extension of the voucher service must be made for a future appointment date.

Our office recommends that you fill out the proper paperwork prior to any office treatment or service. It is your responsibility to fully participate in decisions involving your own health care and to accept the consequences of your decisions if complications occur. You are expected to follow-up on your physician’s instructions to do any instructed exercises and take medication when prescribed. You can complete your paperwork ahead of time.

Yes, the following insurances are accepted:
AETNA, CIGNA, EMPIRE BLUE CROSS BLUE SHIELD, UNITED HEALTH CARE, OXFORD/OPTOM, GHI, NIPPON LIFE, NOFAULT/WORKERS’ COMP and many others. We also accept HSA, FSA, and HRA’s. Please note that each insurance plan covers a different amount of visits.
