I can’t believe the summer is almost coming to an end. Have you completed everything on your bucket list yet? 

In true Type A fashion, I keep a monthly bucket list. I know it might sound pretty crazy, but it’s how I make sure I get it all done. 

There’s never a right or wrong time to start your own. Just like dieting, forget about the Monday start date and do it NOW! You might be surprised to find out just what you are actually capable of. 

Here’s a look at my summer bucket list that’s already 90 percent completed: 

  1. Plan a party for over 250 people  
  2. Move my family into a new home  
  3. Make a few small trips  
  4. Exercise four to five days a week  
  5. Fix up some stuff in my Hamptons pad 
  6. Groom myself weekly  
  7. Stay away from chocolate! 
  8. Plan a spa getaway 
  9. Learn to sit back and let someone else do the work 
  10. Reconnect with high school friends 
  11. Get a great tan 
  12. Empower a friend to do more 
  13. Mentor someone 
  14. Read a new self-help book 
  15. Eat less pasta 
  16. Take more risks 
  17. Get a certification 
  18. Register kids for school 
  19. Soul search 
  20. Pencil in Me time
