What to Expect:Prepare to get sweaty because this workout involves high intensity movements like plyometrics, burpees, jump squats with resistance bands and heavy lifting performed back-to-back. Since there’s literally no break time built in, the goal is to get as far as you can without stopping. As their mantra says, at WRKNYC everyone “just keeps it moving”.
Coaches like founder Will Jackson have a laid-back style of teaching. Instead of yelling at you boot camp-style or using cheesy inspirational lines, you’ll be motivated by simple words of encouragement like, “Today you showed up!” and “Let’s work!”.
The Space & Vibe The class, which was originally offered as an outdoor bootcamp now has its own space on 34th Street.
