Are You Soulmates, Lovers or Friends?

Have you ever held your purse on the inside arm to avoid holding hands with a date? Have you cancelled on someone just to avoid being alone with them in their apartment?

I get it, I’ve definitely dated some guys when I was really just not feeling the chemistry. Does that make me a bad person?  No, and it doesn’t make you a bad one either!

Something I have come to learn is that no matter what a significant other has to offer, you have to be in a relationship because you are truly attracted to them on all levels – physically, emotionally and mentally.

As for figuring out whether the person you’re dating is into you, see if you answer “yes” to the questions below:

  1. Do they call you instead of text you?
  2. Does the person you’re seeing actually want to hear your voice?
  3. Have you been asked to meet up with their friends at a bar/restaurant on a Friday or Saturday night? (If you don’t even know their friends, you’re definitely not in Loverville)
  4. Do you they take you out for dinner? If you are a female, who is picking up the tab?
  5. Do you speak to them throughout the week, or is it a weekend only-type situation?

If a guy or girl is into you, they make time to see you, bottom line. If the person you are seeing seems to be incapable of picking up the phone to speak to you, answering a call regarding dinner plans or even just to say “hello,” it’s time to move on, as communication is the cornerstone of any strong relationship.

Ladies and gents, if you’re really looking to find your soulmate, it might be time to consult with the experts. We love this matchmaking service.
