THE MOVES

Pilates offers exercise variations and progressions leaving you feeling challenged. Pilates is an effective exercise that has a much lower chance of injury than with other forms of exercise. The moves require you to engage your whole body, and concentrate although at times you may try to strengthen one muscle while stretching another. At DASHA® the “independent client providers” use Pilates in conjunction with other wellness services. It is also known to be beneficial for correcting scoliosis, improving posture, and rehabilitating the body from injuries.

REFORMER PILATES is practiced with a reformer machine and is generally more intense and more dynamic. It aids to add resistance to the Pilates exercises by the use of the springs on the pilates machine. Each apparatus was designed to help accelerate the process of stretching, strengthening, body alignment and increased core strength.
