Do you remember studying the Declaration of Independence back in school? I do. Although history wasn’t my strongest subject, a few things stuck with me, including this section: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable Rights that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.”  

We often find ourselves saying, “I just want to be happy”. Well, what does happiness actually mean to you? YOU matter most and to find out, the best place to start is by recognizing who and what makes you feel good – and who and what doesn’t. 

Just yesterday, a friend of mine was telling me a story about why it’s important to surround yourself with positive people. It’s really annoying when people are constantly negative because eventually it will either rub off on you, leave you with the feeling of uncertainty or just make you want to run for the hills! 

To me, happiness comes when you are willing to let go. It’s when you feel satisfied and fulfilled. And remember, what you feel now is what you will attract.
