Let’s Talk About Sex…ual Health

Excuse me if I am out of line here, but sexual health is an integral part of our overall wellness and lifestyle. From less stress to a longer life, there are tremendous benefits when you have a healthy and active love life. 

Of course, I know when you’ve been married more than 10 years, things start to change. Forget about romance, rose petals or trying to look all sexy in some new satin teddy. You say to each other, “Can we just speed this up and get this over with?” or “Let’s just skip it tonight, I’m tired.” 

Cut to 3AM and lucky you are woken up by “lucky him.” You were in the middle of the most amazing dream and he just RUINED IT. But you comply and within 10 minutes he hit’s his homerun and then is out like a light, while you end up sitting up until your 7AM gym class pissed off as can be. Soon enough you’ll be setting your alarm so you can have sex at a designated hour as if it’s become a task or your job. What the heck are we all thinking? 

The truth is, less sex leads to more frustration. If it doesn’t happen at home, it will happen elsewhere or both of you will just become hallway buddies.
