Mat work - Resistance and strength of your own body
Mat Pilates practice is one of the best ways to maintain a healthy back & joint mobility! Pilate’s clients realize improved flexibility, coordination and balance. It’s just you and your body. These elements can help to decrease the number of injuries and lead you to a proportional distribution of weight and muscle tone.
Reformer & Cadillac Combo - Resistance training with a machine
This equipment is called the ultimate workhorse! This equipment is specifically designed for the movement. The machine can be used to correct postural imbalances, scoliosis, postpartum abdominal weakness, or post rehabilitation from an injury. It accentuates all of the mat exercises while using the resistance of the springs and pulleys.

Pilates is a great forms of conditioning and cross training for top-tier athletes. Pilates allows athletes to access each part of the body individually and become more familiar with functional mechanics. Top athletes use it for strength, flexibility, coordination and injury prevention.
Benefits: Pilates training allows athletes to hit the ball farther, run faster, jump higher and they do it without pain or injury to themselves.
Pilates Pre-natal - Maintaining Strength, Flexibility, and Your Figure
During pregnancy, the female body will develop and change dramatically. Mom’s to be can find relief through the use of Pilates by learning awareness of the pelvic floor and now to use those muscles in a fundamental manner. Pre-natal Pilates will also incorporate breathing techniques, coordination, a sense of rhythm and flow. Pilates is the ultimate answer to relieving stress! Go to someplace you’ve never gone before in exercise. Be aware, be mindful.
Pilates Post Natal - Consult with your doctor
After your delivery, you will want to become active as soon as you are able. If you did not have a C-section, an episiotomy, or an unusually large blood loss, you could theoretically perform the routine for the third trimester the day after your delivery. You will notice that you have excessive water weight.
Throughout the birthing process all of the water surrounding your baby and all of the milk going into your breasts has mildly overwhelmed your body and you just cannot urinate away all of the extra fluid in your system. Pilate’s exercises will increase your circulation, and this should help reduce swelling in your ankles or other joints.
