PhysioRED Infrared Cardio Device
A session on the PhysioRED consists of a reclined cycling workout within a heated chamber. This FDA-listed device utilizes 2,800 watts of infrared light to help you burn up to ten times the calories of a typical cycling class. It is ideal for those who want to lose weight or are otherwise limited in their movement.
SpineForce
The FDA-approved SpineForce is the first technology designed to pinpoint and tone deep spinal muscles, but it can also be used to target up to 80 core muscles simultaneously. Sessions on the SpineForce enhance stamina and muscle strength and improve balance, flexibility, coordination, and posture. The SpineForce can also be used to reduce the risk of injury and accelerate recovery time. Our clients utlize SpineForce’s versatile technology for everything from pain relief to core strengthening and golf swing enhancement.
Matrix T7xe Virtual Treadmill
The Virtual Treadmill by Matrix, with Vista Clear Television Technology and iPod compatibility for video and audio playback, is the ultimate virtual running experience. Go for a run in some of the country’s most beautiful locations virtually! The Matrix simulates landscape, incline, and terrain and provides a truly unique indoor running experience. Sessions include a complimentary stretching session.
Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) Testing
RMR testing, utilizing Cardio Coach Plus technology, measures each client’s rate of metabolism and calculates individual daily caloric needs. It can be used to determine precisely how many calories you may eat each day and still lose weight. RMR testing is available alone or in combination with a personal training session.
Peak VO2 Testing
Peak VO2 is the maximum amount of oxygen consumed by the body during exercise. Considered by exercise physiologists to be the ultimate indicator of cardiovascular fitness, Peak VO2 testing is intended for athletes or those who train like athletes. It determines target heart rate zones and is used to create a personalized exercise regimen for optimum training and results.
Pilates
Pilates is ideal for building core strength and developing long, lean muscles. Pilates sessions at Dasha focus on proper breathing, correct spinal and pelvic alignment, and smooth, flowing movement. Reformer Pilates, which utilizes the body’s own weight for resistance with a system of springs and pulleys, may be used to correct scoliosis, improve posture, and rehabilitation the body from an injury.
Yoga
Clear the mind and relax the body in our private yoga sessions, whether you are a beginner or experienced in your practice. Sessions focus on numerous physical postures, called asanas, and incorporate breathing and meditation exercises for a totally rejuvenating full-body experience.
Dance Therapy
The goal of our dance therapy sessions is to yield the emotional and physical balance that can be found through movement. Dance therapy, which is a form of expressive therapy, is based in the notion that movement and dance strengthen the connection between the mind and body, promoting both physical and mental healing and well-being.
Stretching
Proper stretching technique is crucial for achieving maximum results and better performance from your workouts. Stretching eases muscle soreness and tension, reduces chance of injury, and improves posture, but it also decreases the effects of stress on the body. Sessions may be purchased with or independently of personal training packages.
