Taking in a movie outdoors with a picnic at your feet and the city skyline in view is one of the great pleasures of New York in the summer.  Below are the best places to catch a flick on a summer evening in the Big Apple.

BRYANT PARK – The lawn opens at 5:00pm, when you can make a mad dash with your blanket and claim a patch of green to call your own.  The movie starts after dark (like all outdoor movie screenings), so be sure to invite those friends you enjoy whiling away the hours with!  Film screenings for summer 2014 are on Mondays and run through Monday, August 18thKey Largo, The Karate Kid, Lover Come Back and The Shining are on the schedule.  Click HERE to learn more.
